Singer 54301 ProSeries Wax, Clear

Using this to extend the life of my 2" shades pull strings. Seems to be working !

I tested one of the applicators on thread, embroidery floss and medium weight yarn. In all cases it coated the strands evenly with a thin layer of wax. Be sure to remove the plastic film and use a bit of tension while pulling the strand through the slits. Before using, I left it in room temperature to ensure the wax was soft enough. I smoothed out the waxed strands between my fingers as a final step to help seal in the wax.

I use this right away on my thread. It really helps. My thread use to fry after a while when using on seed beads. This really helped. I always wax my thread before use now.
