Sauder Via 3-Drawer Pedestal, Classic Cherry Finish

Assembly was easy. If you are familiar with car or plane model kit instructions, you'll breeze through the Sauder assembly instructions, with some added humor even. All parts and hardware are marked for easy identification. The parts all fit together like a glove. After assembly all drawers slide in and out easily and the locking mechanisms work well. The drawer rails have an offset screw mechanism that allows you to adjust the gaps between the drawer fronts when closed. I have assembled similar products and was stuck with misaligned drawers, giving the product a cheap look.NOTE: There is a levering, lockout device for the bottom two drawers. When sliding the bottom drawers in for the first time, I found, the lever that comes into contact with that drawer must be positioned first, by pulling it forward. Otherwise the drawer will not fully close.I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for an affordable, yet well designed office pedestal.

Not nearly as bad as some reviews put. This is compressed wood, but it is higher quality, dense heavy weight compressed wood with a nice cherry-wood laminate. Drawers are higher quality but the bottom drawer is maddening to assemble. It is impossible to install the bracket as pictured. You need to find a different creative way to affix the bracket to the cabinet and drawer. The two small drawers are fine.

Easy to assemble, strong, looks good and works very well. I don't need another one right now, but if circumstances change, I may get another one.

The filing cabinet was worth the purchase! I have always trusted Sauder furniture products! And I would recommend Sauder to friends and family!

arrived with damaged panels that reveal how cheaply made the product is. This is cheap, cheap, cheap particle board. I honestly have never seen anything like it and I have purchased all sorts of "assembly required" items.BUYER BEWARE!!! Whats more, it does not look anything like the pictures, it looks so crappy and cheap.That being said, they are happy to replace the broken boards IF you prove it to them. WTF!?! OR you can return the garbage to them and pay the shipping charges yourself AND pay a 20% re-stocking fee.What a bargain! you can buy damaged products from them and then they can profit from your return. Honestly, this product is no where near worth the 20% of the original purchase price.It is my experience that any company that charges a re-stocking fee is usually selling garbage to begin with. BUYER BEWARE!!!

This pedestal is made with cheap materials. Sides cracked on the first day and I had to screw them together. Very disappointed. Would NOT recommend.

Great looking cabinet at a fair price.Well built , in my opinion.Would buy again.
