I've only had it a few days, but I already like it. Doesn't leave your skin looking greasy, and you can actually feel the ingredients working. I couple this with red light therapy and also take an immune support formula, and it's working wonderfully. It's almost as though the problem was never there! Also I was expecting like a little chapstick-like tube, but it actually is a pretty big tube that comes with a LOT for the money! From my tape measure, it's about 3½ inches long, and 3 inches in circumference! I wasn't expecting it to be that huge, but I welcome it since it means I won't run out of it for a while. You don't need much; a little goes a very long way. I use either my finger tip or a cotton swab to scoop a very small amount out and dab it where needed. It's not the same consistency as chapstick, so if you try to use it that way, you'll end up using more than you need because too much will come off the stick. So it's best to use a finger tip or a cotton swab (Q-tip) to get some out and dabble it on. For a larger area, I guess I could see you spreading it on directly from the tube. But if it's for a small area like your face, not much is needed. This is a non-water based formula, so it doesn't feel cheap or like you're not getting your money's worth. You can feel and smell nearly every ingredient in this formula. Especially the shea butter. I'm not talking about that watered down crap at the store, this is the real deal because I have a container of real raw African shea butter and it has a very similar consistency. Anyway, it's working well and offering the relief I required. I only apply it about 3x a day and so far so good. First thing in the morning after I've slept for hours seems to be when I need it the most. Throughout the rest of the day it's not so bad. It says to continue use for 7 days after affected area has cleared up. So that's what I'm going to do. May not need to try the Abreva anymore. I was getting desperate and considering it, but it's SO expensive for just one small tube that's WAY smaller than this one. This is prob half the cost of the leading brand, works just as efficiently, AND you get way more for the money!

I've been struggling with oral herpes for around 3 years now and don't want to do the antiviral meds if at all possible. There have been 2 times when I felt I HAD to go that route, but I don't want to make that a habit. I take Lysine daily as a preventive of a breakout and that does a fairly good job. I'm continuously finding new things that aggravate the condition such as sun, nuts and stress to mention a few and it seems like I'm getting further behind in controlling it. After using Herp stop for a few days I am so pleased with the results and my face looks the best it has looked since I started down this path. Even the scars have softened and lessened. The stick is much bigger than I thought it would be and should last a long time. Just be aware that it is softer than a regular chap stick and while applying use very little pressure or you will have big globs. Nothing that can't be controlled once you know what to expect. Very, very pleased to have found this product.

For someone who has been dealing with cold sores about 20yrs of my life, this stuff is amazing. I take Herp Rescue capsules at the first sign of a cold sore. I used this stick, recently, for the first time. I felt the first tingling and used it right away. It really works! The cold sore didn't even come to the surface! It's like magic. The only drawback is that the consistency is that of a glue stick, like the ones you'd have used as a child. It isn't smooth going on, at all. Iwas willing to deal with it as long as it worked. And it did! Thank you!! Herp Rescue products are the best!!

I have been very unfortunate to have gotten fever blisters my entire life. I have never used something that worked so quickly. I have tried it all. I happen to come across this product when I was searching for a miracle to heal my lips quick and fast, something other than my prescription. I was excited when I came across this and read other positive reviews. I had never heard of this product before. I am so glad I took a chance. I purchased the Herp Rescue pills also and the two together work even better and speeds up recovery. The tube is nice and fat. The balm applies nicely, it's a softer balm, not like chap stick. It smells like medicine but not horrible. I slathered the Herp Stop on before bed and took the pills as directed and when I woke up the swelling and blisters went down significantly!!! I think using both the balm and pills work better together. This stuff says what it is going to do y'all! It stops the Herp!!! Just make sure to keep applying and take the pills as directed!!

Normally this is a good product. It works great! But I ordered a new one in June, it’s now October, and I put it away until I finished the one I had. When I opened it up it was old, yellow and stiff and sticky. I also ordered the one that said rescue and they sent Herp Stop.

I love this product the first time I ordered it it worked wonders. I use it every day and I believe it has prevented me from getting a cold sore or over a year.i started to run out ordered a new one and it dosen't seem to be as creamy it's really waxy and almost seems dyed out so I am disappointed. But maybe I just got a bad one.

This product has been a lifesaver for me! After contracting cold sores for the first time in my late 20s, I was having a lot of trouble managing outbreaks. I have been using this product for about 9 months and have not had a major cold sore outbreak since starting to use it. When I get a small blemish, this seems to clear it up overnight. In addition, it is an amazing all-around multipurpose salve for your skin. I use it all the time to get rid of dry patches and have gotten several family members hooked on it as well who aren’t cold sore suffers but use it as lip balm and salve.
