Fun with Stencils: Butterflies (Dover Little Activity Books: Insects)

Its a cheap stencil book with only a few pages. If you need the stencils or patterns its worth the couple bucks. Most of the cut outs were missing when received but didnt need them anyway

This is a great little book for stenciling. The flowered are in detail. The stencils are durable to last a long time. Best deal ever !

The stencils themselves are what I expected. They are made out of a thin cardboard and are good for a few painting projects or for tracing the image. Unfortunately, what I'm not happy about was the way it was shipped. I received a large box with 5-6 items that I ordered, just thrown into the box. I found this small item tucked under the box fold and would have missed it if I hadn't lifted it to make sure I had all of my items.

Used this for a Onesie and Bib station at a baby shower and they were a hit. Easy to use and the perfect size. There are 6 stencils in each booklet, they're perforated so you can take the booklet apart. The size of the stencil is about the size of a 4x6 pic and was the right size for our project. They are a coated card type material but were very durable as they were used by many people, many times. Would definitely purchase them and use them again.

Cute but a bit flimsy.......handle with care, but so well priced, I'd still give 'em four stars.

Bought every one of these little books that were available. They are small, about 1/4 the size of a standard sheet of paper. The inside is medium weight card stock and each page has one stencil. There are maybe 8 to 10 pages of stencils based on the book's theme in each book. Wouldn't use for a painting project, but I'm planning to turn them into fabric applique designs, and they will be perfect for that use.

These stencil books are probably hands down THE best bargain on Amazon. I bought 9 of them for painting onesies at a baby shower. So much more cost effective than other stencils I considered. Stencils are done on thick stock paper and there wasn't one design that was at all disappointing. Would buy time and time again.

Could not have found a better way to decorate the bibs & onsies at the baby shower! The kids & adults used these with ease. The mother to be was so happy with all the different butterflies!

I bought this because I was looking for the correct size stencils to use in a bedroom. I unfortunaly placed the stencil on the wall, stuck it with masking tape and used paint. DO NOT DO THIS.The stencil came apart, some sticking to the wall, the image destroyed etc. The only way to use these are to draw an outline with pencil and colour in. They are pretty but only for kids to play with not for decorating (as described on the book)Lesson learned!!

I brought this for my daughter who was a little dissappointed with the stencil size and it's flimsy quality and therefore only used it maybe a couple times. If you are interested in using it in a A4 book then this is ok but, if like my daughter you were hoping to using it to decorate your bedroom wall it may be better that you look for a more harder quality of stencil.

Thses pretty butterflies keep my little angel busy tracing and colouring for ages. My only let down is easily tear but for price you only get what pay for. Ive also taken a template of each on sturdier material for my own use on card crafting.

I thought these would be too thick, but they were perfect for stencils. Picture is a chair for my niece.
