I just bought this and have only used it once. It's battery powered with 4 AA batteries, which were included. I didn't want a charging stand. It's easy to use and is just what I needed, since I have an injured wrist and can't use my wine tool.

I have been looking for a new wine opener for quite some time but have been reluctant to buy one because there are so many different types. After months of contemplating and looking at different designs, I decided on this one because of its cordless feature and the dual usage base which also is the foil cutter. The base is perfect for keeping it out of my kitchen drawer. It’s easily set it in my cabinet or on even on the counter and the design is compatible with my other kitchen appliances.Immediately upon opening the Amazon box, I noticed the packaging which was very eye appealing. It came in a very well made custom box perfect for gifting. In the box was the item, base and batteries. The other feature that I really appreciated was the ribbon in the battery compartment. It allows for easy removal of the batteries when it’s time to change them.The use of the opener is easy and self explanatory. It literally opens the wine bottle with one hand and removal of the cork from the opener is just as easy.I will be buying another one for a Xmas gift.

This is the perfect gift! It comes with a beautiful box! And the opener itself is great. It’s so easy to operate. I love that they included the batteries too. No need to search around for batteries. The day I got it delivered is the day I could start using it. Within 3 seconds my bottle of wine was open and ready to drink. I’ve tried it on both the fake wax corks and the real wood ones and it works great on both. I don’t know why I didn’t buy this sooner and struggled with the hand held opener. The foil cutter is great added touch too!

Living in Sicily and having 220volt I didn’t want to buy something else where I needed a transformer. Found this bit of technology and BAM I have my poured vino in less than a minute.Item arrived in a very nice package with batteries. I just had surgery on my chest due to post breast cancer and I’m not always great at opening wine bottles with a normal opener. This bit of technology, I was able to cut the foil off place it over the cork hit the down button and watched the cork come out with ease and then removing it just as easy. This is the first use, but if it continues like this... then I’d recommend buy it for those you love that love wine!

I’m very happy with my automatic wine opener! It’s so cool to use it in front of my guests :) Everyone loves it! It comes in a box which is so cool! Plus, I’m happy to get it with batteries! That was an extra point for me to order it. You just open the box and install the battery! Here you go, you have coolest wine opener ever! :) Definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded.  Wine bottle opener works well! Easy to use, single button that’s user friendly. It pulls the cork out and also goes the other way to remove from the opener. Great for my office space where we have happy hour. The cork doesn’t get stuck and comes out clean. Really appreciate the addition of batteries so I don’t have to search for some.

Worked well so far! I had it for almost a year now! Make sure to position it in the middle of the bottle /cork and hold on tight for it to be effective at alll times! I had some issues about it sliding on one side/ cracking the cork at a wrong angle and then I have to resort to the traditional corkscrew to get the broken cork out of the bottle...so just watch out...
