Purchase this item for my husband. He goes through bags of apples every week for his snack food. You have to put a little pressure on it to get them through in the cut but he's very happy with it. Easy to put together easy to clean and store.

Perfect for making thinner slices.
Really like this apple slicer. It makes thinner slices that are perfect for apple toast. I rock the cutter from side to side when I'm cutting a really crisp apple. Very sharp and sturdy.

Hard to push down if you have arthritis in your hands/wrists. Need a lot of pressure to push down to slice.

Doesn’t cut through to the very bottom
You have to press a decent amount of weight down on it in order to get it going, otherwise, it’s sharp enough to cut through apples… UNTIL you get to the very bottom, so you end up having to pull them off, leaving the bottom skin and sometimes parts of the apple.It’s easy to clean and overall does its job but I’m sure there are better options out there!

Doesn't cut all the way to the bottom. Work Great, but have to break off the slices at the bottom. Works as well as my dollar store one. Company stands behind the Product! Great Customer Service!
