Overall well made product. The magnet that holds the cap open is a good strength, and gives a very satisfying click when it opens and closes.However, the battery and magnet are not secured, so they rattle. It was easy enough to open up the device and add some electrical tape to secure them both.Sometimes the device doesn't spark when upside down. I had hoped that securing the battery would help, but I'm but convinced it did. If that happens, putting the device right side up, sparking it up, and then turning upside down usually fixes it. This seems like it might be a loose connection, but I didn't find anything on my inspection.It would be nice if there was a LED behind the spark -- in darkness, it can be hard to see if you have the lighter in the right spot. The button lights up when the cap is open, so you can kind of use that to see in the dark, but it would be excellent if the light was in front of the spark gap. It doesn't need to be bright, even a dim red LED would be more than enough to help light a candle in the dark.This unit doesn't have any kind of power level indicator. This could be added gracefully by making the button LED multicolor and changing the color depending on the charge remaining.And finally, a USB-C plug instead of the micro-USB would be nice. Fast charging/Power Delivery isn't necessary, but a modern plug would be nice.While single spark gap lighters can be more precise, this triple spark gap lighter has become my go-to for all my lighting needs.

The media could not be loaded.  Non magnetic metal body with magnetic open and close clips (*update-magnet pulled free, easy fix with super glue. . But it's still only been 3 days. .) to go with the button activation power on/off. Not to be confused with the safety switch on the bottom for breaker style total on/off- both protecting from accident pocket activation independently. Just lost my dual arc lighter that I REALLY REALLY liked and I'm amazed how much more ooph this has. Ultra powerful! Very literally can't blow it out- got light headed trying. . . Or maybe that was the bowl moments before. . . .(*update 2): the "the lid is closed" button seems have failed suddenly. It's just a tiny nub that goes down when the lid is shut and yet somehow it's become occasionally non responsive. Don't know what else it would be if not a fault in that.From 4 star to 1 star in a hurry- what's worse than an intended safety that breaks somehow on the inside within days of using it and prevents reliable use? Yikes (*update: got a replacement and it's not had the issue of the first.)

It doesn’t have like bars or some kind of way to tell how much battery is left (e.g. 50%). It also didn’t come with a manual even to explain a little bit of functionality such as what to look for to see if it is completely charged or not.Otherwise it is faster to light up things than the small kinds that’s labeled with the description of dual arc.

A little disappointing that the electrodes where not all the same height and some had insulation and what not exposed.It doesn't ignite more than the charge can conduct through but it lights what it does touch consistently.The 3 arcs are better than the 2, i have tried both, but the magnet still likes to pop out which is not the safest but being aware of it and gluing it back seems to work.

It’s a cool idea but I’ve had it less than 2 months and it no longer charges. I also had a hard time using it upside down.

This lighter is useless for cigars. Don't be fooled by contrary reviews. I really wanted to like this lighter. It is small, looks good, actually looks really cool, especially when it is arcing. However, it will never light a cigar.

If you're going to smoke weed, light away from the bowl and bring it close so the heat causes the flower to burn. If you light directly it instantly incinerates it and you blow through your weed very fast.

It still functions, but doesn't close. Eh..
