The description said 'Walnut" but I think maybe it is Ash wood. The patchwork patter is even prettier than Walnut or Acacia. If I'm right, it was a very pleasant upgrade. Box was perfectly made, lid fit exactly, all corners were sharp, no excess glue, very good quality control and attention to detail.

This box is as seen with no deviations what so ever. Very high quality craftsmanship. This was gifted to me and what a beautiful gift it is. Product just arrived today and for the most part I am pleased for the cost. Here's a few pros and cons after unboxing. Pros: solid - the box itself doesn't feel cheaply made. I am pleased with the size as it is exactly as described. Nice finished on the wood Now here is the one con that I found that was the deciding factor on giving this 4 stars: The locking mechanism was misaligned and I have to insert the key at an angle in order to get the lock to function. Also - the latch that secures the box was also misaligned slightly and I need to put quite a bit of pressure in order for it to latch properly. This is a pretty significant flaw in the product, and I think there should be some following up on the quality control. I probably wouldn't purchase this again for the simple fact that I can't trust the quality.

Tengan cuidado, no lo pidan, si su idea es regresarlo por defecto físico mejor NO LO PIDAAAN!!! Yo lo pedí por qué confío en las devoluciones por Amazon, el detalle fue que el vendedor lo solicita de regreso por paquetería extranjera, y el detalle es cuando lo quieres regresar, por qué no te deja hacerlo por DHL ni estafeta, y solo te da la opción de Cadena internacional, el problema es que me piden factura y tres copias de la factura, aparte que cualquier cosa es arreglándose con el vendedor, ya que hablé por Amazon y me dijeron que no se podía cambiar de paquetería y tenía que ser por la que me dijo el vendedor, nada menso, por qué para regresarlo es difícil, y sin factura imposibleeee, así que mejor opté por quedármelo, por que por los comentarios muchos siguen esperando su rembolso y no les llegó, así que por eso preferí mejor quedármelo, de eso a nada mejor aunq sea tenerlo ante tantas dificultades, venía con algunos detalles, mínimos pero lo bueno es q si cierra, aunq vi varios comentarios de que no cerraba bien en algunos y otros con defectos casi tooodos! Pero bueno, mejor ahórrate ese dinero, compra manijas para cajas y mánda hacer tu caja con tu carpintero de confianza,(eso iba a hacer yo desde un inicio y hubiera sido una mejor opción además de apoyar al comercio local) te saldrá mucho mejor quizás el mismo precio o más barato la neta, y va a ser algo que te guste y que te sientas satisfecho con el resultado

It's a lovely box but the interior of the lock is misaligned so the key is obstructed and cannot engage the lock. Looking at previous feedback, the seller must know this but keeps selling the item. The price should be reduced accordingly and the product description should make it clear that this item is known to have a defective lock. Even with a paid Prime membership, Amazon has lacklustre return options which either require me to travel 40 to 50 kilometers to return the item to a drop-off point, or I have to pay for a courier to return the item. The Amazon site interface is designed to make it difficult to reach anyone at Amazon to discuss the matter but the customer can eventually find the online 'chat' option. That leads to an unnecessarily protracted interaction with the Amazon representative, who - after much prompting - offers a minor concession to settle the matter. Not a great customer experience.

These measurements have nothing to do with the actual measurements. - It has only one key - You should think twice about locking the box with that lock. I wouldn't trust that the box can be unlocked again. - The box itself is very well made. You can contact any other seller if you have questions – it's impossible with Amazon as a seller. Ich habe diese Box gekauft zur Aufnahme bestimmter Tableaus, die jetzt natürlich nicht mehr passen Es gibt nur einen Schlüssel. Überlegen Sie sich gut, ob Sie die Box mit diesem Schloss abschließen. Ich würde nicht darauf vertrauen, dass sie wieder geöffnet werden kann.
