GREAT DEAL! I just got my used 2012 Chevy Cruze recently but one of the two car keys was a little raggedy and beat up. I wanted a fresh back up but did not want to pay upwards of 200+ dollars from the local dealership so I ordered this instead.After doing some research online, I found out that the local A. Hardware had a key machine so all I had to do was bring in one of my original pre-cut car keys and then for $10 they cut the blade on this one I ordered here to match--super quick and easy. After that, I found out that it's INCREDIBLY easy to program--you DO NOT need to pay someone to do that--I literally just pulled up a video to verify, put in the original programmed key into the ignition (one turn to turn the car on, wait to hear the noise indicating that the car is on) then turned it back off, removed the original programmed key, and placed the new, UNprogrammed freshly cut pair (thanks to A. Hardware)--turned it on, waiting again to hear the noise indicating that the car is on, then turn it off and remove! Voila! It's programmed!No issues and has been working ever since. It locks and unlocks completely fine so I am VERY happy with this purchase--literally saving so much money and hassle.

I bought this spare keychain for my car and I was very satisfied. It was easy to program and transfer all the settings of the original, without complications. I was surprised how simple the process was: in a few steps I already had it working like the original keychain.The design is resistant and feels of good quality. Ideal if you lost one or just want to have a spare at hand. Totally recommended!

This thing is awesome! Don't bother going to the store and getting the key cut like others have said. Ace actually wouldn't even cut my key because it was "aftermarket" and said they would have to order an OEM key. Just buy a cheap punch and drive out the little pin that holds the part of the key that goes in the ignition. There are videos all over the internet on how to do that. It was super easy to change the old key over to the new one. Programming the new key was a piece of cake, but only because I had 2 original keys. This new key fob works just like the original, no problems at all.

The cut key opens the doors and starts the car, but the push buttons don’t work. Maybe I got a lemon. My advice, stay clear.

Worked well. Programming is not hard. Much cheaper than buying one from a dealer. The battery may be a little weak, but I was using the key within minutes of getting it cut and programed.

Works great. Save me almost $500 from the dealer.

The rubber buttons started coming out at the edges after a month.

I bought this to have a spare key for my son's 2013 GMC Terrain. The locksmith was able to easily cut it to match the original and then it was super simple to connect the key to the car. Remote start and everything work flawlessly
