Good book to start with
This is a good beginner guitar music book. Grandson wasn’t interested enough to stick with it. The friends & games on the internet are too enticing to him. He is 9. This is the same book I started with in 2nd grade. By 3rd grade I was playing in my music class. I still have my 1rst guitar and it still plays and sounds great. It was made in 1954. LOL ya I'm 72. But this is the book U want for your kids. They make a 1, 2, 3, & 4. Think, if they have been making this book all those years it must be good. OK I stopped counting guitars at 13 so I gave 1 to 1 of my 10 grand kids with the book. Her mom sent me a video of her playing. Maybe that was the trick. Give them a guitar and a book that is easy and fun and they learn. LOL I have a lot of kids. will be getting more.

Beginner Guitar book
This is so perfectly designed! Even I could learn from it! I wish only that it had a chart with all beginner string lessons on one or two pages so I could see the whole picture! I am a visual learner! Instead, I have to return to previous pages to find each string’s cord, letters & so forth! Overall, this book is a 9 for me! I bought for a child, but I like it too!
