flowmeter is exactly as described
I used this flowmeter to make an instrument to measure breath flow and pressure. The control valve is useful to set the back pressure and the floating bead measures a good range of useful flow. It's probably possible to breath out air faster than this device can measure, but that wasn't necessary for my use. Pressure was measured with a pressure gauge, a different Amazon purchase. It seems to work well and is of sturdy construction.
