Applied this to plywood on an interior floor that was first treated with Minwax sanding sealer then 4 coats of Minwax clear polyurethane finish that was quite smooth when finished. Without treating the plywood first, it likely would not have bonded well at all. After having installed the flooring, I suspect that unless the substrate is very clean and smooth, it would not stick well long term.The product was not applied in a marine application so I have no idea how it would hold up in that environment.I am very happy with the results so far.It would be helpful if the Seller would post the installation instructions on the product information page.

Looks good but any abrasion will show up. Goes down well. You have to miter any corners and glue it.Overall it is fairly easy to use.You will definitely have to square up the edges as none of these manufacturers ship a square piece. Be sure to allow for at least an 1/8 to quarter inch. It does shrink n a gap will show at the seam.

I just bought a new aluminum hull boat and didn’t want to pay a ton of money for sea deck. So I ordered this stuff and it ended up working really well. My advice for anyone trying to cut the rolls into specific shapes pieces is to tape pieces of poster board together to make a template then use the template to cut the foam. I did this and it worked perfectly the first time with no issues

Works just like the more expensive "name brand." Easy to install and stays put.

Seems like ok material but it’s not easy to cut to shape etc.

I missed that the backing is a different color, which doesn't work for my application. Pic's looked like black backing but description does say the backing color if you look closely. Fairly stiff also so might be hard to form around anything that isn't flat. Seems like traction isn't great since it is pretty stiff and fairly smooth on top but didn't really test it out since I didn't want the white edge I didn't use it.

Great material so far. I do recommend using added glue. I used the 3M spray glue. So far so good.
