I was doing just fine with a 3 or 5 card Past, Present, Future reading each day. A daily reading is unquestionably a time tested way to learn the Tarot. It is The way to learn to “Know Thyself”. So 365 Tarot spreads sounded over the top to me. I’m on a budget, and though I’m a glutton for books and decks, I limit myself to those I can’t do without and this one turned out to be irresistible. The question is the key ingredient to a good Tarot card reading, these questions are about as juicy as it gets. If you are brand-new to Tarot this is not the book for you. As a beginner, you should start out by pulling one card a day and keeping a journal. Once past the stage of the beginner it's time for a book like this one to help you spread your creative wings.There are spreads that include Animals and Cinema, Fairy Tales and Finance. There is a Lawsuit spread, and a Celebrate Like a Queen Birthday Spread. There is a Limiting Belief spread and a Party Planning Spread and my favorite so far, the Hidden Desire spread. There is a chapter for each month and a spread for each day, but you are free to just jump into the inspiring index and choose a spread at will.If there were 10 stars I'd give it a 10 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fascinating and Wildly Diverse Tarot Spreads - and so much more! *by A***N on April 25, 2015* Outstanding book of wildly diverse and interesting tarot spreads - and, oh, so much more. Wonderful insights for each day of the year, and each page has something fascinating to learn. Not just about tarot or particular cards, but - for example - whose birthday or event a particular day is/was (and the spread based upon that person or issue) or other not-so-trivial esoterica. The author has such a wonderful sense of humor. I just love Sasha Graham's books about tarot, and this is a great one. They are written by a funny wise modern woman who is as familiar with tarot as cell phones and the internet, not some century-old mystical society of stuffy Victorian men. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is thought provoking and also at times very funny *by S***N on May 30, 2014* I love this book, i am currently starting in May, the spreads are different and thought provoking. I particularly enjoyed the Freedom Spread on page 156 with questions about freedom of person and political opinion. For each day of the year there is a spread along with layout design. At the back of the book are an index of spreads with title headings such as Animals, Cinema, Creativity, Fairy Tales, Finance and Legal Matters, General Advice, Goddess and God, Grief,Sadness and Moving Forward,Health and Well-Being,Holidays, Home and Family, Literary, Love and Romance, Mythical Creatures,Nature,Occult and Esoteric, Out of This World,Self-Knowledge, Sensual, Spiritual. Under these headings are many different spreads, I chuckled through the Zombie Apocalypse Spread under Mythical Creatures. This is a great book for a tarot reader who wants to explore tarot in depth with both humour and seriousness.
