Worked pretty well for my first sprint triathlon. Some loosening overtime, but could be operator error. Works good enough.

Working on turning my used road bike into a bike I can use for tri's. These aero bars were worth it. I had some issues installing because the metal inserts did not fit around the tape on my handle bar but without them the bars slid around to much. I ended up being able to fit one metal insert and then really forcing the fixed base to just jam on there and eventually muscle it together. I did have to use a heavy duty hex key to do this, not the one supplied as it didnt provide enough torque. The numbers were also printed slightly off, so if I tried to put them both at 4, one was much farther up than the other but that wasnt a big issue I just eyeballed it and ignored the numbers which worked out fine. So other than a few technical issues setting it up they are great otherwise!

Everything came exactly as pictured so that was nice. The bolts seem good quality, and while the machining is, well, what you’d expect, it does secure to the bars very good. Would I have liked to buy some profile designs bars? Yes. But, for the price, these will get the job done I am sure. So far no regrets buying them.I will note I do own a bike with high end aero bars so I do have something to compare them to.Will update after I use these on a 4 day trip next week.

I got these to use on my stationary bike while a broken thumb heals. The instructions were very minimal and hard to make sense of, but it was thankfully doable to figure out how to install the bars anyway. They've been working well enough for me to get some riding in without putting pressure on my hand, but the plates where I rest my elbows have been bending, which would have me concerned about using them for more than a few weeks, especially if I was logging lots of time on the bike.

I have a canondale synapse (Al) and the bars fit fine without spacers. The padding doesn't fit the shape on the elbow rests very well, and the pad velcro isn't very strong. That said they're comfortable enough for the price. The hand grips are cheap and you'll get black stuff rubbing off on your hand. Also the bars are slightly different so it takes a while to get them adjusted and they aren't perfectly parallel to each other, one is slightly canted so it can be awkward and cause strain after a while if you aren't careful.

Item does not fit. Says it is made for 31.8 mm handlebars and mine are 31.8 mm, but the gap of the arc is not correct for either piece. The bottom is close, 31+, but the top piece is not even 30 mm. Due to this shoddy workmanship, I scratched my handlebars to kingdom come trying to get them to stay on. I tightened as much as I dared for fear of cracking the bars, I shimmed with rubber and electrical tape, I tried double sided tape, all to no avail. So then I cracked out the calipers, and sure enough, that’s the problem.

I do triathlons on a regular road bike, these aero bars were east to install and they work better than I could have excepted. After my first ride I found a comfortable position and they have improved my aerodynamics. You cannot go wrong with these.
