Do I get the 50.5-51.8mm or the 51.8-53.3mm. Well after trying both I can say definitely get the 51.8-53.3mm. Because the Prostaff P3/P7 has a thick rubber armor the smaller of the two was too tight, you almost have to force it a little around the lens. With the 51.8-53.3 you just push it in and it fits perfectly snug, not loose or too tight. The quality of these is fairly good. I was worried they'll be too much flex on the cap but it has a nice balance between flex and stiffness. I would prefer it to be a slightly stiffer/harder but it's still good the way it is. The edges are cut perfectly smooth. One noticeable thing I like is when the cap is off, it goes straight down and out of the way of the viewing lens as shown in the photo. The original end caps fell off whenever the binoculars were removed from the case. The new lens caps fit snugly and the tether keeps the caps with the binoculars.
