Review: Heart Soap Mold - This is a beautiful little heart maker but it does tend to leak out a bit while curing. I used clips to hold the edges together the second time I used this mold but it still leaked a bit. The next time I used even more clips and laid it on the other side to cure and it did just fine. I then placed them standing up in a tall container and stuffed paper towels around them to fill in the gap between the molds and the outer container, being careful to keep the columns as straight as possible. I poured at med-thin trace and experienced no leakage. The hearts came out perfect with minimal cleanup required. For the finished bars, I used the soap columns as embeds in a tall skinny loaf mold that's 2.25" wide. Proportionally they look good in the finished bars. However, the first batch I made I tried the 'love letter' design and the width of the loaf mold was too narrow to look like an envelope. The 2nd two batches I did different swirl variations and placed the embed during the pour. They came out fine, but I will tweak my designs next time I make them. All in all, I think the size of the heart is ok for a 2.25" wide mold, but would look better in a 2.5" or wider mold. The length can be pieced together or cut to fit any size mold. I used one of the four hearts I made to fill in the gap on the three batches of soap I made as my mold is 13" long; they came out fine. The finished size of the heart is 1" x 1" at the widest points. My recipe had 425 grams of oil with a 36% lye concentration (1.78:1). This amount was too much for the four molds. I had enough left over to make an extra single-bar soap (I think 3oz bar) which I shredded for confetti for a future batch.

**Q: Does this inclued the small shape molds also?**
A: My order only contained the heart. That is what I ordered.

**Q: My soap did not come out cleanly.  Is there something I should do to the mold prior to pouring in my soap mix?**
A: We let our soap cure for at least a full week prior to trying to remove it from the mold.  That seems to be the magic number.

**Q: How much is 1000ml in pounds or ounces?**
A: 33.81 oz.

**Q: Does the Big Cylinder shape include all five pieces?**
A: No, just one big cylinder, not include others :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to Use

The heart shaped silicone mold worked perfectly for my cold process soap. I used melt and pour for the silicone mold and then embedded that into my loaf mold and pour my cold processed soap over it. I did have to hold the silicone mold together with smaller rubber band hair ties but it came out really well with no leaking. The length is the perfect size for the 10X3 loaf mold. Removing the heart from the silicone was easy too. The mold is made up of thick silicone and seems durable.
