Here is the list of problems that need correcting. The flat brackets are not bent at the proper angles, the flat brackets do not fit the bushings(too small), the hoop legs are spread out to far. Here is what was ok. Mounting hardware, and the locking mechanism. To make it fit - cut off brackets mount and bend legs in then weld back together, bend flat plates to the proper angle, also die grind where bushings should fit.

Bear in mind, this is not an expensive item, I have a 1997 sportster sport and with a little bit of manipulation, it went on..👍 welding is good, and you are able to disconnect it and lift clear, if you wish! Could do with a manufacturer designing a small rack, to Support a little camping gear.. paint is good and I like the semi Matt finish, I found I had to give it a little tug, and squeeze when fitting but nothing major.. very cheap sis bar,

Looks good. Matches my Black denim Iron 883 stock seat. Instructions were not clear but still simple to install. FYI: have to rotate the screw in order for the bar to go in.
