Extraordinary Insights
This is a truly remarkable book, full of facts and some surprises about how our bodies are subject to the cycles of time and the circadian rhythms that have such an influence on many aspects of our lives. Professor Foster is a world authority on his subject but his book is written without jargon and with a great sense of humour and many personal anecdotes. Although the book runs to around 400 pages it is a very enjoyable read. Having read the book I defy any reader not to make changes to their lives which they will find to be to their lasting benefit.James White

Fascinating + look past the brash title
I hate the title as it gives the impression that this is a self-help book! In fact it's a comprehensive review of current research and understanding of circadian rhythms and their effect on sleep and health written by someone preeminent in their field in a most accessible way. I now know that skin cells have an effect on our body clock and that a Hungarian countess in the 16th/17th centuries drank the blood of young virgins because she believed it would preserve her youthfulness and that she wasn't wrong!

a perfect transaction
this is a book packed with reliable accurate and up to date scientific information which Dr. Foster makes accessible to the non- medical reader. In my case it has helped me understand my older-person body, how and why sleep works and its many connections with managing general health and in particular for me urology. I find it invaluable.

Cover smells funny.
The book is excellent, unfortunately the fold out paper cover has a very strange smell.

I like it, interesting
What I read so far is good. Sounds like someone has spent many years studying this topic and is sharing it with the general public.
