Fantastic Price and Quality
I'm still pretty new to watercolor and was struggling to find a paper I liked. I've used Arches, but find it too expensive for regular practice. Most of the paper I bought - some of it more expensive than this - sucked up water really quickly, buckled badly, or pilled even though it was marked as watercolor paper. I saw this paper mentioned in a YouTube video, and since it was cheaper than what I'd been buying, I decided to try it. So far, I love this! It's a good size for practice or small gift pieces to mail to a friend. There's enough tooth that you can easily control water or paint, it doesn't absorb lots of water, and it maintains its integrity even when I lift colors. I can't recommend this enough.

Great paper for the money.
I really enjoy watercoloring on block paper. Surface remains nicely stretched and wrinkle-free. Paint flows easily and stays where you put it.

Sealed togetherness
All of the watercolor sheets were sealed together on the edges, so I had to separate each sheet with a knife, one at a time. It seems like the same type of glue that’s used on the binding side, but somehow was used on all four sides. The paper itself is great, but now each card has a fuzzy edge with all the extra binding material that is stuck on there.

Exceptional
This paper is amazingly beautiful, so much so that I googled just who this company is. This is what I found out: they have been making paper since 1557 and over the centuries, the greatest artists and designers have used the Canson® papers: Delacroix, Van Gogh, Degas, Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Warhol, Jean-Michel Alberola, Toguo, Philippe Starck, Yan Pei-Ming ... Amazing! The quality of the paper is exceptional. This is the first time I've used a block. I love the way the pressure holds the paper so there's no distressing or warping. This is now my paper of choice. I love it.

Great for cards
Love that is a block…no need to tape down. Takes watercolor paint wonderfully. And not all watercolor paper companies carry this item.

My favourite.
Canson is not known for being the best but for non professionals it’s my favourite paper. I use watercolour and mixed media and it’s sturdy and good. Also the paper has two different levels of grit depending on which side you use which is super handy
