Really stiff rod. Will have to test it out on bigger fishes to determine.

Salt Water Rod
This 7' medium weight rod is for inbound brackish or saltwater. Recommended by an avid fisherman, since I did not own one. Haven't been fishing at this point. Was a good deal at time of purchase.

Great until it is not
Absolutely love this rod with its great action and long casting. I used it for about a month. On my last trip, I fell against it and it snapped in the middle. It might not be fair to blame the rod but it is the first one I have broken in 40+ years of fishing.

Terrible shipping
Great product terrible shipping rod was broken in half. Was very easy to get replaced still I value my time if they used a better container it would not have been a issue. They need to get up with kastking they know how to do it.
