Epiphone Les Paul Studio, Alpine White

Update on my Studio Epiphone . Still love my new Studio Epiphone , so much fun to play . Although had a bad experience with the grover rotomatic tuners especially the g tuner ,constantly had to retune during sessions. Bought Guyker locking tuners , very inexpensive, and very easy to install. New set of Ernie Ball lites , and so far , in love with my guitar again!!!!!

Upon opening the box ,I realized the the headstock was broken clean off

Love this guitar and so thankful my head stock wasn't broken upon delivery. Think yall are having issues with the delivery drivers and not Epiphone themselves. My only complaint is that packaging could've been alot more secure than just one scrunched up piece of cardboard paper at the bottom and a formed piece of cardboard attached to the top of the head stock. A $600 guitar may not sound expensive to a collector but for your average person or beginner that's a decent price and should warrant a little better packaging. Other than that the guitar is beautiful and came in a day earlier than expected. 4 stars because of packaging. 5 stars for the guitar itself.

I sold my Gibson Les Paul Studio and also my Gibson Les Paul Standard a long time ago. This guitar is every bit as gorgeous and the sound is every bit as good for 1/4 the price.

The packaging from the manufacturer (not the Amazon/seller packaging) makes this guitar un-orderable online. I ordered two from Amazon and both times the neck was snapped at the head. I returned them and ordered a third from Guitar Center, and it came with a broken pickup switch. I ended up ordering a Gretsch instead, and the factory packaging insured that it could survive shipping in its own box.

Excellent craftsmanship. Surprisingly well made. Once plugged in I liked the sustain. Pick ups are good quality. Fret board is smooth.

Opened it up and one of the knobs was able to pull right off way too easily. sat down to tune it and got to the d string and the strings all went flat and the head came up and snapped. Never got to even play it. I will not be buying an epiphone or a Gibson again. for this price this is absolutely ridiculous.

This guitar is worth every penny, playability is excellent for beginners, but the sound quality and range of tones available with the split pickup option is awesome for anyone. Paired this with Vox mini beetle amp, Sound is definitely on the thick side, perfect rock/ blues, clear chords and rich tones. Adjusted the action down easily, lower than recommended and there is very little fret noise, but feels slick for playing all the way up the neck. Ordered from cosmo music, arrived pristine, and quickly. Played great out of the box, just adjusted action for personal preference. Can’t find the crisp crunch I want for metal with this amp, but I’m sure the guitar would sound great with right setup. I’ve been playing it for about a year and love it more and more. Zero complaints. Epiphone all the way, unless your loaded and can spend 3000. This guitar does everything that 3000 dollar guitar will and fit and finish is beautiful.
