worked good in beginning then stopped keeping cool.think igloo stopped making these and launched new version,not sure

Living in Florida during hurricane season should we have to evacuate this will be our mobile refrigerator. Have tried it out and it cools very nicely.

I have used this for almost a month. Most of the time I have used this in a climate controlled environment where the ambient tempeture was from 70 to 80 degrees. With that the cooler runs 38 to 40 degrees very consistantly. I have not yet tried it outside yet for any long periods of time to see how well it will work in 90+ degree weather, but I am betting that it will do just fine.If you have never used a thermoelectric cooler before then there are some things that you must consider. It will discharge the battery on your vehicle, length of time will vary depending on your vehicle but usually around 3 hours. I have tried other brands such a koolatron and those coolers wouldn't stay cool much less make anything cooler. May be more expensive than other brands, but does what is expected.I would also recommend an AC to DC power inverter so that you can take it inside at night. We also use it as a soft drink cooler when we have company over.
