This pallet is great! I bought it for my new QOR watercolor paints. The pans hold the full 5ml tube. I’m able to mix on the surface without the paint beading up. It’s very lightweight, closes without any issues although I’d love a different hinge mechanism. This will not be a travel pallet, it’s a bit to large for my preference but it’s absolutely perfect for at home in my art studio. I highly recommend this palette great value for the money!

It is a very nice sturdy plastic palette especially for the price. It is not flimsy plastic. The paint wells do not come out they are fixed permanent. But i have certainly spent more money on flimsier plastic paint palettes and this one was cheaper and much nicer. I think could travel well without issue. I am not sure if it will leak or not but the plastic is sturdy enough to carry around.

I needed something to put my watercolor tube paints in to make a single palette, and this was perfect. The pan size is generous, I was able to fit about 3/4 of a tube inside each well—then I let them dry out for a few days. I created some swatches and taped them to the inside flap for reference. The one thing I noticed is that the smaller fold out portion kind of clicks if you extend it too far down. Mine didn’t break, but I could imagine if you were too rough with it—the hinge may give if not aware of that. I don’t mix my colors on my palettes themselves—so I won’t be using that section for that anyway. This was a great price and ideal for my specific needs.

I got this for a watercolor class this summer since it fits the instructor's description of what we should get. Seems to be exactly what she asked for. Very good design for daily use. All of the wells are in the base - very good. I would never buy one where half of the wells and therefore messes are in the lids.

I spilled coffee all over this, and it was easy to clean up. I have paint drying in the wells right now, so I haven't used it. I don't travel with paints so I can't score that or "leak proof." However, the wells are good sized and I think the palette surface is very smooth.

Larger than expected, very roomy for Michigan my paints. Love it.

This is perfect for painting my decorated cookies. Nice size, compact, and a decent amount of compartments. I can’t comment of leakage or portability. I use it w/ powdered pigments and alcohol which don’t stay in a liquid state.
