The control top only focus is on the very top of where the garment sits. It doesn't hold in the area near the C-section to give you extra support..if you're buying is after c-section I would definitely pass

These are very small and tight. I would recommend sizing up.I gave it three stars only because the large did not fit me and it was so tight I couldn't breathe. But if it did fit the snug would be quite nice to hide Muffin top

I weigh 113 pounds, and wear a size 4 in pants. I need the tummy protection for a pump in my abdomen. If the size M/L is too small for me, what does a size 12 or 14 girl order?? It's well made, but know it's very tiny! I sent it back.

I bought these to wear after my c section (6weeks+). It made me look good but they are really uncomfortable. I wore them a decent amount, despite not being comfortable.

seemed to ride up a bit. more support above belly button than below although for postpartum support, you need it lower. over all ok
