It works - and the last one I bought still works two years in.
This is my second J5 create and if I get a third computer setup, I’ll buy another. I’ve not had any problems with this docking station so don’t fix what ain’t broke!

Does not have any C-type output
I have liked most J5Create products. They have been plug and play and worked flawlessly. Not this one. There is no C type output so you will not get any more C-type ports or devices to work on this device. Also your monitors will not work if you do not get the correct drivers. I could not get them to work at all. Perhaps you will have better luck. Yes I did call support to confirm that I was not missing anything.

Works Great
I like that I only have to plug in one thing to my laptop instead of 3-4 . I'm not sure if I misread the details of what came in the package but I was a little disappointed that there was no power cord to power the docking station so I can charge my laptop as when it is plugged into the docking station. So I had to purchase a power cord.

Easy to use
I use this to hook two monitors to my laptop for business purposes. It’s a no stress type of hook up because you don’t have to download anything. It’s plug and play. I highly recommend this if you want a simple hook up.
