I have very course, very thick, wavy long hair and this product dries and smooths my hair better than my high end blow dryer and straightener in a lot less time! The barrel brush is oval shaped and a lot larger than I was expecting but that’s what makes it work so great. For me, the key is to allow my hair to air dry until it’s lightly damp before using.My hair is shiny and smooth after using this amazing product. Best thing since sliced bread!

There's a lot to like about this brush hair dryer:1. It dries hair more quickly than any other brush hair dryer I've used, Even on the lower setting.2. the brush is huge with a retangular-ish shape that helps to prevent too much curl at the bottom and provides good volume and lift at the roots.3. My hair stays smooth and shiny which has never happened with any other brush hair dryer.However there are a few cons as well:1. The highest setting is so loud that I'm concerned it will damage hearing over time. Fortunately, the lower settings aren't nearly as loud and they dry hair very well.2. This is enormous and gets heavy while using. The diameter might be a problem for small hands.Even with the cons, I have to say this does a very nice job and is worth buying.

I am finally able to have my hair look the same as when I go to the salon!!!! I never thought this would be possible. LOVE this blow dryer/brush combination. No more having to use a curling or straightening iron after a regular blow dry at home - this really works!!!! Easy to use and cut my drying time in half.

I just recently colored my hair when I purchased this as I wanted my hair to look and feel like I just came out from the salon - bouncy, shiny and light feeling after blow dry. And this did not disappoint. I have been using my normal blow dryer after washing my hair but it makes my hair so dry and frizzy. This is a game-changer for me. I use heat protectant/leave-on conditioner before I use this after washing my hair. My hair is soft, shiny and not frizzy! It glides softly on my wet hair and you wont even feel a hair being pulled 😄 Initially I thought it is too big/wide but I like it now as it dries my hair fast. It’s a gentle giant! 😉

The Tymo hair drying brush is fast at drying and straightening my hair. It adds volume & shine. My hair is just long enough to add a curly, wave. I don’t use this device often because I have curly hair. The last few times I’ve used the dryer it has started to smoke up my bathroom. I eliminated the hair products I use, made sure my dryer brush was clean, and the vent was clean and it still smokes. So, I’m sure it’s on borrowed time based off others reviews. I’m outside of the return period. I’ll probably try Tymo customer service and see if they replace it under warranty?

My hair is super thick and super long. And this bad boy held up for 2 years. It dries my hair fast for all of my hair it takes 45 min to an hour. It overheated and stopped working but it’s was efficient for 2 years. My hair was softer and didn’t frizz as much when I used it. It’s sad I am back on the market but looking for new hair tech to tackle my thick long hair.
