These are some of the BEST chips that I have ever tasted! They are packed with flavor and are perfect for those that like their tastebuds to be HIT with salt and sweet flavors! It is definitely an experience to try these chips! However, I am unsure of who could reasonably consider these as spicy. Maybe someone that thinks black pepper has a "kick" to it? While it is true that our level of tolerance to spicy foods are different, something marketed as Ghost pepper should not be less spicy than the jalapeño flavor of some competitor brands. Someone should have a serious talk with the marketing team... if the "general public" to whom this is marketed cannot handle spicy foods, maybe they should avoid buying products labeled as "very spicy" that other consumers crave for. The Ghost pepper and the Carolina Reaper are peppers considered to be some of the highest on the scoville scale... Notwithstanding the problem in regards to labeling/advertising and the spiciness level, these are by far some of the best chips and I would still recommend them to anyone who wants to try something new!

If you're choosing a Ghost Pepper as a flavor for a bag of chips, it's for the heat/spicy effect and not only for the general taste. Nobody who's ''normal'' will look for that kind of pepper as a flavor. Hot/Spicy effect: These chips are not hot at all, yes they are a bit spicy (less then Miss Vickies Jalapenos), but not at all Ghost Pepper spicy. I don't know if the hotness of these chips varies from lot to lot, but both bags I purchased were not hot. Read the ingredient, nothing mentioning Gost Pepper in there, but ONLY spice (before last ingredient). Only that is a big tell on how much there's almost no Ghost Pepper. Flavor: They are very good, a bit more on the sweet side at first, followed by a bit of spicy and salty flavor. The moment you eat them, you can feal/smell the flavor in your nose. Texture: They are crispy a bit more thick then normal/standard chips. Conclusion: Tasteful chips, a bit spicy with a great flavor. But if your kick is to have very HOT chips, these are not for you at all. You will be disappointed.

These are my favorite! If I can’t find them in store, Amazon to the rescue.

My boyfriend and I tried the brand on a plane ride a few years ago. He enjoyed the regular salted ones so we occasionally bought them as a treat. Saw these Ghost Pepper ones and I was very excited. First bought them in 06/2020. It arrived crushed with other items in the box.. Still the very crunchy texture we enjoyed but it was tasteless. Felt like someone forgot to mix in the seasoning. Basically tasted like lightly sprinkled paprika. Gave it another shot in 09/2020 because it went on sale again and I wanted a crunchy potato chip that isn't doused in salt. i.e. This slightly flavored potato chip. This time, the bag of chips we got was very flavorful and actually has a kick. I like spicy food and it was tingly. I guess someone tweaked the recipe since the first time I had it. I hope that is the case and it stays like this or gets even better because the introduction was weak. Too bad they probably lost some customers to their first experience of a weak recipe.
