Brigid and the Butter: A Legend about St

I bought this for my daughter's 9th birthday and she absolutely loved it. The language is simple but captivating and the pictures are gorgeous. This belongs on the bookshelf of every Catholic family.

Absolutely one of my favorite and my daughter (age 3) never tires of this story. It is a great way to teach children about giving to others in need and also of God’s mercy! On St. Brigids’s feast day we make oaten bread and homemade butter from whipping cream.

We have read this story over and over. My Brigid likes the story and the pictures, and she has pointed out ways to be charitable.

Very sweet story of a lovely saint. The pictures are a bit too cartoony, but my children enjoy it!
