high quality
not very salted, nice taste, no skin which is very good (don't like seeing or feeling scales while eating fish). do recommend.

wife loves them
wife loves sardines but store-bought brands looked disgusting. These are nicely packed in water, deboned, mercury free and ready to eat. will be buying more.

Great sardines
Sardines are packed with nutrients and protein, I've been eating them for years. Because they're far down on the food chain they also don't accumulate much if any mercury. However, I've never had boneless/skinless sardines which these are. Man, they're delicious, the best canned sardines I've ever had. There's a little bump in the cost but well worth it. Very little if any salt added so I had to salt them to taste.

Nice
I have been ordering these for a while and they are good. last batch I noticed that there seemed to be more oil and less fish .. but that might just be a fluke. Still delicious - especially so with a bit of sriracha mixed in.

Wild Planet Sardines in Olive Oil cross-review and comparison
So I decided to try the two most major "sustainable" brands, Wild Planet and Safe Catch, and to compare the two.Right off the bat, in my opinion, Safe Catch is better across the board except in 1 area. Safe Catch uses better Olive Oil and more of it and it permeates the fish quite heavily. Every bite is rich and delicious, truly, but I imagine there is quite a bit of fat from Olive Oil in there. In contrast, Wild Planet's oil seems diluted and doesn't cover the fish like in the Safe Catch can. HoweverWild Planet have skin and bone, so I imagine there is more fish fat in there for those omega-3's. Also the calcium from the bone. But the Safe Catch is truly more delicious. Wild Planet is fishy and organy while Safe Catch is decadent, umami filet of fish. Wild Planet is mushy and watery and the sardines come from the pacific.Safe Catch is a dryer product with less water weight. There is more protein and more fat in the same sizedserving. Some of that fat is definitely extra oil though. But the flavor is delicious and there are no offensive organs, bones, or skin in the package. 100% filet.Considering they're priced about the same, I would recommend Safe Catch's filets each and every time. I'd recommend draining and "patting' the can of fish dry with a good paper towel prior to eating, to get ridof excess oil. They are truly delicious with a bit of mustard on a cracker.I found Wild Planet nutritious but gross. Would avoid.Safe Catch Sardine filets in olive oil are premium and gourmet. Would eat them every day.I give a friendly 3 to Wild Planet but I may even go down to a 2. 5/5 all day for Safe Catch.

Good but expected better
Bought this product thinking it was from a stand alone canner. It's not. Processed by common mega cannery in Morocco.

Delicious...
Sent them to my sister. She loves sardines and tried them. Said they were delicious. She also gives them to her dog on his dry dog food to keep his coat shiny.
