Are these reusable? If so how many uses have y’all got out of them?

Yes, they are reusable. Just like any brush, it depends on how well you clean them and also how you care for them to maintain its shape. The bottom can screw into a pole to get those hard to reach cut in’s but the quality is poor. Used it once and it cracked from the pole. Useless to me now...

Cant I just duct tape a brush to a pole ?

This brush has a bendable handle which you don't have with a regular angular paint brush. Plus few paint brushes this size have the opening in the handle to screw on a pole. Using duct tape to attach a regular paint brush to a pole will not give you enough control and you won't get the right angle if that's what interests you in this brush. It still takes a very steady hand to use so adding a pole to a brush will never be as accurate as doing it w/o the pole (and a ladder).

How do you control how much paint is loaded on to your brush without removing it from the pole?

Tap it on the side of the pot or whatever your dipping into it will help to get control excess paint as if you were painting it with it in your hand
