Fun and Easy to Install these Beautiful Lights.
The media could not be loaded. I installed 34 of these lights and all added easily to my wifi network. With my Eero network I had to disable 5G temporarily, but the lights are discovered and added with a couple taps on the screen. They have many different light temperatures and colors. You're also able to group them by room and create routines like Tap to Run to turn off or on a whole set of lights. Alexa recognizes the lights right away and you can say, "Dim L1" or "Turn off B1". I can also say, "Turn off B1 and B2 and B3 and B4" and all will quickly respond. I renamed all the lights with a letter and number depending upon which room they are in. The phone app is really easy to use to change names and settings. I loved that I did not have to worry about studs with the thin lights, they would go in right under the wood. Only the gimbal lights need a couple inches of clearance. When you turn the power off, all the lights come back on with the same settings . I put switches on each group so that I could initially reset using power on, off, on, off, on. Also I could have a guest use the switch rather than teach them how to talk to Alexa. I love these lights and look forward to getting my ceiling popcorn replaced. That's what prompted me to add all the lighting. I like turning on one or two lights for ambience or just a spot requirement. What a really great product, seems revolutionary for retrofit as well as new construction. The little control boxes were easy to connect up to the 14 guage wiring. They have a nice push connector so you don't have to deal with wire nuts. I'm really happy with the versatility and ease of setup. Thanks for helping me improve my home!!

Impressive Step-Up In Technology
This set has worked flawlessly for me. Even the wifey is impressed and is having fun with all the features. We had a single ceiling light in a large family room. I cut 9 round holes in the ceiling in a sort of tic-tac-toe pattern. I highly recommend the purchase of HLOFIZI 6 3/8” hole saw and the Disston E0215000 Blo-Mol Dust cover for the hole saw. They both worked very nicely together to reduce the dust & the dust just falling onto your face.If I have one small criticism, it’s that the lights, even at 1%, are still brighter than I would like for certain ambiance’s. I also have one light-furthest from my WiFi that occasionally doesn’t respond to the commands. I believe it’s due to the fact is right next to an HVAC duct with foil insulation which might block signals. I’ll adjust if necessary later. The interaction with Alexa is very good. The CloudyBay app is not particularly intuitive but you figure it out eventually. To counteract the over brightness of 1% of all 9 lights, I created 5 different groups on the app. One for all lights, and one each for all rows of 3 lights, and one for the 4 corners. So, I can quickly turn off a couple rows or go with the 4 corners to obtain the level I want.We are having a lot more fun with changing colors of the lights, and other color changing features including have the lights respond (colorfully) with the sound of music coming out of the Alexa Dot or even my own voice. In short, ordering Alexa to turn On or Off or adjust the lights or groups is easy and seamless and fun. You will impress friends at your next party.

Perfect for conversion - takes 4 or 5 to "get in the groove" installation wise
So, these replaced ceiling lights on our middle floor - installation was the only issue, at first. Turn off breaer for the light, remove your ugly energy wasting ceiling lights that hang down a foot, just enough to get in the way of movers and mattresses and more.... Once the old lights are removed, you will see you need to cut a 6" hole in your ceiling and your ceiling light boxes are 4" - remove them, they are likely nailed to ceiling joists/ rafters - They are likely side nailed and plastic - get biggest needle nose pliers you have and grab the plastic ceiling box under where your wires come into it and twist / break the box until you've freed your wires, or one side. If you have wires leaving the same box, do the other side. Then take a hammer, hold the top and use the handle to try to push the box up and away from the wood joist its nailed to. If that doesn't work, take a 2x2 piece of wood or a 1' piece of pipe, or a cats paw and try to push up or hammer up the box so it goes up inside the ceiling- or just keep tearing the plastic into pieces with your pliers. If you got it to move, get whats called a finish pry bar in the pain section of your big box, and pry it away from the joise. Goal is to remove or push box out of the way, and have easy, unfettered access to the romex / electric lines. Now mark a 6" circle on the ceiling lining up with the side of the joist so your 4" circle is inside the 6" circle but touching one side so as to stay inside and long side the joist. Then cut inside the line with a drywall saw so you have a 6" circle. Hook up by twisting the cables around, then wirenutting together, once you've pulled the cables in the access hole into the box - then wire it on up. First light took me 40 min, 20 of which was trying to figure out how to remove the darn ceiling light box nailed to the ceiling joist. Last one, so far, took me 10 min total. Theres very little on Google about removing the bakelite plastic boxes. I installed about 10 so far.

RGB lights dont work with smart dimmer, tedious to operate but work well
I got 22 *RGB lights* installed in 5 rooms: 4, 4, 4, 4, 6.Cons:1. None of the smart dimmers switches are compatible with the lights. You will need to use a non-dimmer switch.2. The groups work great from the cloudybay app and Smart life app, but groups will not sync with Alexa. So there is a lot of programming work required multiple places for the set up to work.Pros:1. Work well2. Change colors as intended3. Dim from the app4. The lights will do great if you're just planning to install one per room or Ok to use the app for controls.Pro Tip: Do not install a smart dimmer instead used with a smart switch. You will see flickers, and dimming will not work.

Brighter than halo
Easy install, they come with quick connects or wire nits, 3 or 5 color changing temperatures., and they work great with LUTRON DIVA LED DIMMERS.
