These are exactly the right size for one standard-size spool of filament—though my old roll of Prusament doesn't fit, the five other brands I have all fit perfectly. The other brands of storage containers I've looked at all have bottoms that curve inward, preventing the roll from fitting. Be aware that (as of the time of this review) the product dimensions given are wrong. If you're buying this for filament, you want the one that says "2.5ltr" at the top of the page even though the dimensions it gives are 8.6 x 8.6 x 24.5 cm. I first ordered the one that looked like it was larger because it said the dimensions are 21.5 x 21.5 x 8 cm, but that one's only 1.6 liters. Review: Perfect size - I love this for everything.
