Outdoor Cushion Slipcover Refresher
We are happy so far with the coverage of this product. It remains to be seen how it fairs the sun and rain. The outdoor furniture is 10 years old and still in good condition. I looked and looked for replacement slip covers but was unable to find the right size and shape. This was our last option. It took 5 cans to spray 11 covers. There was a bit of a problem with several of the cans sprayer. Several seemed to get clogged so it took some finessing to get them to spray. It might help to turn them upside down before spraying from them.

Rustoleum Quality is gone!
A major issue occurred. I purchased two cases of this product to paint a bimini top, aiming to enhance its UV protection and longevity. The Rustoleum quality I'm accustomed to is no longer present. The cans consistently failed to spray, with the tips clogging every few seconds. I attempted to use tips from other cans, but they clogged just as quickly. I even used lacquer thinner to clean the tips, but after two hours, I could only manage four cans. The job was left unfinished and patchy. The cans are cheaply made, with flimsy caps. This is not the same Rustoleum I've used repeatedly before; the cans and paint are noticeably different. When I washed the caps, I found fine, black grit mixed within the paint, which clogged all the tips. Unfortunately, the product is non-returnable, so I will now be using Duplicolor.

This will be amazing to refresh outdoor cushions
I loved the way this paint worked... but I ordered only one can to try it, and it was delivered without the cap or nozzle on it (it was in the box). It started out ok, but was leaking every time I sprayed and finally would not spray at all. I had to "drip" it into my hand and then apply to cushion. I just ordered a case... hopefully the nozzles will work!

Almost perfect
Product is great, the nozzle is a problem. I had to clean it out every 5 seconds to get anything to come out of it. I think the paint product is too thick for that type of spray head. Color is great, coverage is great if you get the nozzle to spray, drying took a long time but that’s dependant on weather and it was a humid day, good size for the price and if I hadn’t had to remove the nozzle it would have been tidy and no leakage but that’s dependant wasn’t the case. Would be great if the can was upgraded. Then this would be a perfect solution to outdoor cushion bleaching.

Like refreshing your lipstick except on cushions!
I absolutely love this product. My cushions had actually faded so much and I could not find replacements without pain in arm and a leg. I did not know that there was paint to use on outdoor cushions so easy to use. My furniture looks brand new again without having to spend money on brand new cushions that are very hard to find anyway.

Sometimes Good, Sometimes Not
This outdoor paint does make cushions look better, but it sometimes streaks and catches on other fabric when you sit on it. Some cans are better than others. The bad ones clog and may or may not resume spraying. Uneven results at the best.

It works, but you’ll pay.
It actually works but I needed 4 cans for 1 patio umbrella. That’s over $50 for 1 umbrella. If it doesn’t fade and retains its color, I’ll a believer. Until then, very expensive.

Terrible Nozzle - Two Cans Did Not Work at All
This was so aggravating. Ruined 4 used cushions I was going to paint, but just spotted them and worked long enough to spray a very light coat sporadically on the surface. This was on two cans. I tried one and it was useless, so I tried the other one and the same thing happened. Nozzle and application of this product are terrible. The paint may have been fine and the color looked decent, but the application was a failure. I called Rustoleum for a full refund. They were over $11.00 per can. Cushions, although used, will need to be tossed probably as I don't know if I can get the color corrected and it may be more expensive than they're worth. So aggravating to have this happen. Oh well, that's what reviews are for, I suppose. UPDATE: The description states this is eligible for refund or replacement. When I tried that on Amazon return page, it states it “this product is not eligible for return”. So, I then contacted Rustoleum themselves and she is supposed to send me a form and I’m to send a copy of the Amazon invoice to get a refund. We’ll see if this works out, but I just wanted to let one know to try that if they wanted to get a refund. It’s only around $25, but apparently they need to improve their spray nozzle on this product.

Kay Worked very well
I attached a little spray unit purchased at Princess Auto to the top of the spray can and it worked wonderfully.

Discontinued for a reason.
Don’t take a gamble and believe the other reviews… I didn’t have clogging issue per say, but two cans of this wasn’t enough to cover four cushions due to the constant giant blobs of paint that would drip from it leaving patches everywhere. I would rather have bought new cushions because I now have to buy another two bottles to try and even out these splotches which has now come to $160. Beyond disappointed and honestly angry with how horrible this product is, no wonder it’s discontinued everywhere.
