Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4.5 out of 5 stars Introduction This 3-in-1 soil tester is a handy gardening tool for checking moisture and helping avoid overwatering or underwatering. It is useful for indoor potted plants, outdoor plants, and simple plant care routines. Pros Easy to use and helps reduce guesswork when watering plants. No battery needed for simple operation. Good for indoor and outdoor plant care. 2-pack gives extra value and convenience. Cons Basic moisture meters can be less accurate than expected. Readings can vary depending on soil type and compaction. Probe-style meters may corrode or wear over time. It is a guide tool, not a perfect measurement device. Conclusion Overall, this is a practical tool for plant owners who want a quick moisture check before watering. It is especially helpful for beginners and everyday gardening use. Why does it rate 4.5 stars I rated it 4.5 stars because it is simple, useful, and affordable for regular plant care. It does not get a full 5 stars because moisture meters can be inconsistent depending on soil and usage conditions.

These work well. I used one in the garden outside and one inside.

I have had to purchase these three times. Two times, one in each package had a bent prong. Even though it was bent, it didn't work. I contacted the company for replacement both times. I had the "go ahead" but for some reason, my printer isn't working so I can't print the information to bring to the UPS store. That's not the company's fault, it is mine. Of the the ones that arrived in perfect condition, work!

I got these meters to track the moisture of the soil in my lemon trees that I brought inside for the winter. I store them under a grow light in the basement, where it is often dry in the winter. At first I thought they were great and gave me a good idea of the moisture, but now after having them for a little while, they don't read that the soil it wet even when I soak the plants. So, either I am watering wrong, which is completely possible, or these don't track moisture very well. The PH reading I have no way to know if it is accurate and the light monitor says it is really dark even when it is under the super bright grow light, which is making the trees so happy with tons of new growth. So the light sensor doesn't work. Hope this long description is helpful. Try a different meter, if you ask me!

We used these today as we were planting our blueberry and raspberry plants. Easy to use, informative and helpful as we work to get the soil prepped for our berry bushes.

Good transaction, good product.

I've never found a moisture meter anywhere in this price range that lasts more than a season. If you use it often, figure that you have to buy a pair each season and you probably won't be disappointed.

With a variety of plants and locations (both front and back yards) it’s helpful to know about lighting, watering and soil. This items is my go to for plant checks. Highly recommend!
