WAY BASICS Cat Litter Box Enclosure Hidden Furniture (Scratch Pad Included)

I read all of the reviews before deciding to give this a shot. After reading reviews about "flimsy" and "falls apart", I decided that I would buy it this anyway and make my own adjustments.It was easy to put together. Dowels and double sided tape. Yes, it's not the most sturdy piece of "furniture" if you can even call it that, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do- conceal the litter box and keep the cat from kicking the litter out (it's better, but she still manages to get some out). I just made sure that I assembled it close to where I wanted it to end up and added cat box and litter after I had it all put together.After reading all reviews, I decided that I was going to put Contac paper down along the bottom and sides before putting the littler box in. I had to buy a smaller litter box to fit, but that's ok.It's been just over a month since my purchase and I'm happy with it and will buy another should anything happen to this one.My only complaint is the same as everybody else- wish it were a more sturdy material.

Easy to assemble. Not very sturdy. Easy to clean but do t wash it down with soap and water, because it’s made from cardboard. It advertises this in the pictures. It came with a few damaged spots since it is only made out of cardboard. It’s held together with these tiny little dowels and some type of 2 sided 3M tape but that’s only to assist you in putting it together. It’s cute and has cool colors. I wanted something enclosed without the big price. I don’t expect it to last forever. Eventually I will get one of the nicer ones that are more sturdy and made of wood. I’m not saying don’t get it, but I’m not saying to get it. It’s cheap, easy, and does it’s job. That is all.

First and foremost, this item did two things as it promised: it was lightweight, and it was easy to assemble -- easy in that the pieces fit together in a simple manner, even if they didn't stay that way and required liberal use of Gorilla Glue to keep the wooden pegs holding it together in place.The lightweight feature seemed great, until the item was put into use. It is made from "paperboard" -- literally just thickly layered paper. Do you see why this is a problem? I wish I had realized it before I purchased.Cats may be meticulous when it comes to their personal grooming, but when it comes to litter and litter boxes, they are disgusting. They kick and scratch at the litter and they have poor aim, urinating and defecating on the sides of the box, or, more often OVER the sides of the box. Any guess what happened?The first time one of my cats aimed poorly, the "paperboard" began to buckle and warp. It stunk -- I could get the surface clean but the waste was soaked in and the smell would not go. It was impossible to keep clean inside. The doors soon fell off from the bottom board becoming warped, exposing the messy interior. Eventually I just broke it down (VERY easy) and dragged it out for the trash. A waste of time and money! Even better -- it left a dirty mark on my tile floor where it had been that is refusing to come up!I guess it was optimistic of me to assume that someone marketing a litter box enclosure literally made of paper would have put some sort of seal on the boards that would make it easy to wipe down and stop waste from literally soaking into it. I was fooled by the five star ratings -- I'd wager these people wrote them before putting the piece into regular use!Waste of time, waste of money, hazardous and just disgusting. Save yourself the aggravation, don't buy it.

The moment you unwrap this cat box you know you made a mistake. The particle board is flimsy, the adhesive doesn't stick, the other materials are cheap. I should have returned it immediately. Instead, about twice a week I crawl under my dining room table and reassemble this worthless thing. I had hoped this thing would keep my puppy out of the cat box, but given it disintegrates after a big sigh, you can barely count on it to keep the cat turds from roaming about your house. In all seriousness I wish I had thrown my money away instead of spending it on this. That would have made me feel like a powerful, subversive rebel. Now I just feel more duped by capitalism than I usually do.What if the product is not the product is not the problem, though, comrade? What if the problem is the profit motive, which pushes us to create things that are cheap and sell them for high prices? What if we were raised to think about what we could give to society, not what we could take from it?See you in Havana.

This design greatly decreases the litter tracked on my carpet! Cat use with ease.Some of the wholes didn't line up when assembled DO NOT FORCE it'll start falling apart. I wish wood glue was included to give me peace of mind. I did get silicone mats to go inside in case they had an accident and missed the side of the box. I didn't want the material to degrade.

ojala pudiera ser mas largo y ancho para que pueda entrar y salir bien un arenero grande. pero esta genial. a mi gato le encanta la privacidad.Mi unico tema es que como es carton compactado, no es tan facil de limpiar.

L'ho comprata perché mi piaceva l'estetica vista in foto ma ad essere sincera sono rimasta molto delusa 😞 dal rapporto qualità prezzo poco resistente insomma costa troppo per quello che offre ...

Super easy to assemble, keeps the litter contained and my house neat. I have a small home, so this piece is great for a multifunctional piece of furniture!

Das Produkt besteht aus gewelltem Papier, die Oberfläche reißt sehr schnell auf und die Magnete zur Türbefestigung reißen auch schnell ab, die Teile werden nur gesteckt und zusammengeklebt. Sprich es hält nicht was versprochen wird und der Preis ist viel zu hoch angesetzt für das minderwertige Material.Meine Empfehlung: Ein paar Bretter im Baumarkt zusammenschneiden lassen und mit ein paar Eisenwinkel zusammenschrauben. So kann man auch die Größe und die Optik an seine Möbel anpassen.
