I thought I bought junk
I was wrong! This darn thing did everything it said it would. It even worked on a budget airline cheap seat. (I hung it from the top of the seat frame and the jaws fit.) The magnet did not fail on my android heavy phone during turbulence. I just slipped the counter magnet inside my phone case. No need to peel the backing glue paper off. I just used it as is. I can see this getting used in the car. Everyday.

Spin it 360
First off, the instructions could be improved, the ability to spin 360 was not apparent, took a while to figure it out. I already had a case with a magnet which would not work because the magnet was the same direction (two magnets with the same pole makes it kind of float). To solve this used the bigger of the two plates, did use the sticker (just left it), this cause each side of the magnets to attach to the plate (not each other). This is sturdy, did not move, yet was very easy to twist and pull down to remove.Tested this on two different airlines with the food tray (tight fit) and one that had a cell phone holder. Closing the food tray was a very tight fit (it did close) and worked. The cell phone tray worked much better and liked that the phone was brought closer to you as a result.Once attached it did not move and watched a few movies without issue. Very stable and the spring to hold it to the tray. Is strong (use both hands).5 stars for not having to hold the phone in your lap, falling asleep and dropping it on the floor (we have all had that happen). Nice design and compact (in your pocket). Well done!!

A great travel companion!
My partner and I travel a lot and it's always a struggle to prop up the phone to try to use it for watching things etc. I do have one of those "flight flaps" for the seat back but it's finicky and the phone still falls out of it - so we went with this and it was a great choice! I'm very happy to have finally found something that works so well because believe me when I say that in addition to the flight flap, I have tried LOTS of other similar gadgets and they were almost all duds. This one is super easy to attach and the phone stays where we want it. Very stable and it does exactly what it says it's supposed to. It's around the same price as other similar contraptions except THIS one actually works. So if you are looking for a solution on where to keep your phone while on a flight so you don't have to worry about dropping it etc THIS is the one to get! I highly recommend it!

Must stick an ugly metal plate to your phone.
It is not that obvious from the listing, but you must adhere a metal plate to your own phone for this phone holder to hold your phone. I already have a popsocket, so i had to stick the metal place below my popsocket. But that means the weight distribution was off (was not centered on the phone), so the phone kept falling off the phone holder. I had no choice but to stick the metal plate on my popsocket, but it is larger, so the four corners of the metal plate stuck out beyond the popsocket. Then it stayed put and didn’t fall off the holder. But this is not a long term solution for me. I don’t want a permanent metal plate stuck to the back of the phone, and definitely not stuck on my popsocket. I will look for a different solution, maybe one that grabs on to the phone by tension on two sides.
