Does it tell you what keys they are or do have to rely on memory

The keys are just as shown. There's no letters printed on them or anything. Many people find that they don't need the letters printed on the keys, after practicing typing for several weeks. However, I don't think the keys actually look good with the whole keyboard swapped, anyway. Swap selectively! Style it up! Also, the spacebar key doesn't fit my K70 Keyboard. (Remember to note that not all keys are same height, so be sure to note height and angle of keys you're swapping.)

Can these key caps fit a matrix keyboard?

I have a Corsair K70, it fits. After googling Matrix keyboard, you actually have no supplied enough information. It won't fit the 65% or 60% size ones, but yes, it'll probably pop right onto the PBT doubleshot keyboard once you remove the keys, though, those are already fancy keys for RGB keyboards, whereas these are not see through or anything.
