No it does not. The beam is extremely weak, I would recommend a laser diode with at the very least 100mw to burn anything. I hope this helps.

The input voltage does change the brightness of the laser. There is a protective circuit limiting voltage and brightness that could affect response time but it is likely to work. But why use UV when green is easier to see and red is dirt cheap?

Is this laser for a scanning microscope? Can anyone recommend a sensor?

The beam quality appears to be single mode with no ghost spots. It could be used as a source if it is truly CW and if one wanted to scan at this wavelength.
