This is just like any other adapter, makes charging speed 2x slower
This is the second adapter I tried to charge my phone and iPad at the same time with.With only the phone attached to one end and the other end unused. My charging speed went from 1hour to 2.5+hours...When I use this with my iPad, iPad doesn't even charge. Without this splitter and direct wire to iPad it charged fine. This adapter lowers charging capacity too much to be useful. Maybe two light powered devices would be the use case?

I needed to divert power to an external camera light on a tablet, in modifying it the unit broke apart.

One side doesn't work.
One leg would not charge a phone. Really defeats the purpose of buying a splitter. Really tired of having to return the junk like this that's being sold.
