Doesn't quite pass the perfect speaker test imo because it beeps to tell you the battery is flat, but it redeems itself with really long battery life plus it quietly turns off after a certain amount of inactivity. It's also very unobtrusive when it comes to lights. This makes it a good speaker for those of us who rely on music or an audio book for getting off to sleep. The volume is tied in with that on your device, so if you use the volume buttons on the speaker, it adjusts your phone volume. It has no bass control either, you have to control that with your phone/computer. The sound quality is great. Really clear for music or speech. It connects easily and has great battery life.

This is the2nd one of these I have owned, the last is over 10 years old and I gifted to my daughter. Great for taking away on holidays and laying by the pool without worrying about the speaker getting splashed. Sound quality is excellent and is easy to connect to your own devices via Bluetooth. Battery lasts well.

Excellent sound quality, easy to connect and operate and overall well worth the money to use around the house, for parties in large halls and outdoors for picnics. Would highly recommend.

Solid portable speaker with great sound for the price. I'm impressed with the audio quality—especially the bass—for such a compact and lightweight speaker. The 10-hour battery life is solid, and the waterproof design is perfect for poolside or shower use. It doesn’t support app features or stereo pairing, but for basic music listening, it’s more than enough. Great value overall.

Bought a JBL Charge 5 speaker earlier in the year and was so impressed with the sound and build quality that, I bought this JBL Flip Essential 2 for the bathroom. Sound quality is excellent for it's compact size. Whilst it was a doddle to pair to my mobile, it proved difficult however to pair with an Alexa. Got there in the end, but it took several attempts.

Loud and perfect sound

nice affordable jbl speaker, bluethooth very easy to connect. did not take long to set up. comes with a usbc charger which is great. jbl is a good brand and this is just a cheap version of the other speakers but it does the exact same job so i really like it. good size, not too heavy, easy to put down because it stands up easily, it doesn't roll around.

He tenido y probado varios altavoces Bluetooth portátiles a lo largo de los años, pero el JBL Flip Essential 2 es, sin duda, uno de los mejores, si no el mejor. Aunque tiene un diseño simple y compacto, ofrece un sonido nítido y potente, incluso al nivel de volumen más bajo. Es sorprendente que un dispositivo tan pequeño pueda producir un sonido tan vivo y preciso. Me han sorprendido especialmente los bajos. Es práctico, discreto y ergonómico, perfecto para lograr un buen sonido en una habitación pequeña, pero también se defiende en el exterior con música más suave. Dos puntos para mejorar... El rendimiento de las frecuencias agudas es un poco justo y, aunque está diseñado para dar hasta 10 horas de autonomía, la duración real de la batería es menor si se utiliza a un volumen medio o alto. Aun así, la calidad del sonido es bastante espectacular para un dispositivo portátil conectado a un smartphone. El tacto es agradable y también es resistente al agua con una clasificación IPX7, lo que lo hace ideal para cualquier salida al aire libre. No puede usarse como batería portátil. La autonomía es más que suficiente para un día. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque un altavoz Bluetooth de alta calidad y coste moderado.

veramente ma veramente di buona qualità, l’audio si sente una bomba quasi come una cassa tre volte più grande, posso dire di averla usata in una sala che ospita max 200 persone per mettere la musica e si sentiva una meraviglia!
