Love this little dinasaur-looking plant
Item arrived much earlier than expected, and in good condition. A bit smaller than I though it would be but it looks great. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Tiny pieces of scraps!
Received 6 tiny pieces of this plant, with a total of about 12 to 15 leaves combined. The photo is definitely not anywhere close to an accurate description. To help further describe this... there was not even enough plant to stick out of the pot it arrived in. There was a chunk of wet fiber on the bottom, the pieces of plant in the middle, and another chunk of wet fiber on the top. With pieces like this I don't even know if I received the correct type of bucephalandra that I ordered.

Beautiful plants
The plants arrived healthy. Bought 2 clumps of different buce plants and I received generous amount for each for the price paid. The 2 Anubias nana petite also came with healthy leaves and long root and each pot has 2 individual plants. The picture with the ruler in between the 2 buce clumps was taken after cleaning/splitting up. They are in my tank for more than a week.. no sign of melting and look really beautiful on the rock.

Falling apart, in pieces. Lots of dead leaves and bare stems.
This was my first order and I'm not sure if this is standard. Packaging was great, heat packs were fine, and the plant arrived warm. However, there were several leaves that were reduced to slime. And, while there were certainly more than a dozen healthy leaves, what I received were mostly bare stem. I needed to chop this up into 5 groups of small leaf cluster of between two and six leaves each. I can only assume this is normal product quality and never buy again.

Arrived in excellent condition
Bucephalandra Catherinae Green, Brownie Blue, Brownie Phantom, and Lamandau Mini Purple arrived in excellent condition from this seller (SubstrateSource). Immediately upon arrival, the plants were placed in a small, plastic container filled with RO water for observation. The plants are a good size for what was ordered (10-15 leaves). It’s been a few days and there has been zero melt. I attached each plant to a piece of lava rock with a dot of cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and placed them in an aquarium. Hopefully, they will continue to do well.

These weren't horrible tbh
Grabbed a few 3-5 or 6-8 plant batches of the brownie B (depending on which part of the ad you read). Never a good sign right? But they're buce at a decent price and I needed to up the order for shipping anyway and they looked safe. They weren't amazing by any means but they were mostly legit. A few why would you bother pieces thrown in but each batch had enough decently aged/sized pieces to qualify as more than satisfactory. Better bang for the buck by far than from Buce Plants so that's always a win. Though I will also say I grabbed a lonely buce in a bag at PetSmart a few weeks ago on a whim and it was better than both by far. Food for thought. I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the intricacies of identifying buce varieties but I'm not convinced these are Brownie B yet. They are neither a perfect match not completely dissimilar from what I find on Google image searches.
