**Q: Are the rubber clips magnetic? Can they stick on metal surface without the base plate?**
A: The rubber clips are not magnetic.

**Q: Is the magnet in the base or the clip?**
A: The magnet is in the base, the clips just provide something for it to snap onto and keep into the little grooves. This means if you have a metal desk, you can not just rely on the re-stickable base, but the magnet inside to snap against the edge/back if you want it more discreet.

**Q: To the manufacturer, Will this prodcut be released in black?**
A: No, currently we do not have the plan to have black ones.

I want more of these, they are so handy. I put one on the wall, and keep my cables ready to go. Powerful enough to hold a 240 watt rated, thick cable from anker. Somewhat weak when holding them still when messing with the cords, such as when the holder is at the front, and the cables go across a night stand, the magnets may detach. Sticky tape on bottom is powerful.
