It's really dusty where I live, and I got tired of washing my microfiber mouse pads because they'd get all grimy after a while with all the dust and dirt getting ground into them over time. I spent a bunch of time looking into a leather desk pad that would be easier to keep clean, but many of them had negative reviews that they scratched really easily, or that a mouse didn't track very well on them. I'm a pretty avid PC gamer, so having a mouse pad that would stand up to regular mouse usage was an important feature for me. I was very pleased with this desk pad after it arrived. It unrolled smoothly and lays nice and flat, stays in place well, and looks very fancy on my desk. It's quite soft and smooth to the touch - my mouse has no problems gliding over this mat, and I've detected no issues with mouse tracking whatsoever. I will say that there is slightly more friction when moving the mouse around when compared to a typical microfiber gaming mouse pad. This hasn't proven to be any issue for me personally, but if you like a smoother gliding mouse feel, I imagine you could buy some teflon pads to stick on your mouse and it would work quite nicely with this mat.

It feels very soft. I like resting my arms on it. It feels high quality and thicker than some of the other desk mats I've seen. The color and faux leather fit with the style and color of my desk which is rustic wood. Even though the actual color of it is more closer to an orange color than a dark brown color. For people wondering this is not real leather, it says it in the item descriptions multiple times idk why people don't read those before buying and then get surprised when they find out it's not real leather. I don't really care if it's real or not, it looks real nice. I'm waiting for it to fully flatten out so the crease marks from when it was rolled up can relax and be fully flat. As far as sliding goes I have stuff on top of it to help flatten it out but from quick tests with the mouse it barely slides around if at all. Very happy with this desk mat and would buy again as gifts. Super great product.

Great product

The mat is nice and large however, it is very thin and flimsy... the rich brown color is nice and their logo located on the top left corner. The item is nice no doubt about it but it is definitely not real leather mat. I have had purchased a real leather mat and its much thicker and feels more like leather. This mat also does not hold the table very well and keep sliding all over the place. If you were to bend or fold the mat it will begin to have very noticeable creases which is not so nice. It does cover a large portion of my desk and i do not abuse the mat a lot so it might serve me for some time. It does look fancy and it does look elegant. I like mine and they did a really good job with the stitching. I just wanted to give this mat a fair review. It is a bit more expensive than its worth. ive spilt water on it and tea and quickly wipes it out and thankfully no stains were left behind. If i was to mess this mat again would i buy it? definitely but i do wish they start making the mat a bit more thicker. This will give it a more expensive and beautiful look.

This leather desk blotter is perfect for my needs. I bought two looking for something to cover the bulk of a round wood dining room table to sit my desktop computer upon. I'm in an apartment and while there is a built-in desk by my kitchen, it is tiny and therefore worthless. In order to have room for my books, writing tablet, etc.. I'm forced to use my 52" round dining table but it's a newer (not terribly hard) wood and black and prone to scratches, etc.. I looked at cheap hard plastic dining table covers (that wouldn't breathe and might ruin my table), all the way to expensive custom hardback covers with velvet backing and just didn't want to spend that kind of money. So...after researching and thinking about my Grandfather's old large leather desk blotter, I thought I'd look around and found these! Two of them laid side by side fit my table almost perfectly to where I can set my computer monitor, keyboard and writing pad on it without possibly scratching my table. The BACKING of these are suede and they ARE 100% LEATHER (they even strongly smell like a great leather handbag!) so they are breathable and don't leave any moisture or weird discoloration to the wood table underneath. Sure because my table is round and these are rectangular there is some uncovered wood, but not in an area I use or put anything on. SO... this idea was great and MUCH cheaper than a custom alternative and much more attractive and healthy for my table than the cheap hard round plastic junk being offered. I also think that if I needed the table for a dinner with guests that I could leave these on as a padding underneath a tablecloth for a little extra protection and they'd work great! If you need a medium thickness pad(s) for anything like my needs - or even anywhere else in the home, these are a great choice at a great price.

So, I've been using this for over a year now, bought it in Oct. 2020 and it's prefect. It feels like genuine leather and quality, underneath is felt so it won't do anything to the desk and it's the right size for my purposes, to basically fit everything on it plus a drink. For some context, I looked for a long time for the right desk mat cause I've got a pretty decked out office; built my own desk, 4 monitors, LEDS, like the whole 9 yards and so I was a bit particular about finding just the right desk mat (for a reasonable price though). And I bought a few and returned them cause they ended up looking cheap. This one does not and it works well, no issues using the mouse on it. Very happy with it and would recommend for sure if your looking for just a nice black leather desk mat. And keep in mind, the pics included, that's after a year of everyday use.

It's the 2nd time I buy this product (different color, though). I decided to replace the old one after more than 3 years of daily use. The filling is perfect. The desk protection is the one expected.

It keeps moving and sliding during mouse movement .... Other brand i bought didnt have such issue !

I would not recommend this product. It's not very well made, keeps moving in my desk and it's very thin. The color is not exactly matching the color in the product description.
