All of our espresso equipment is chrome/brushed chrome. We leave most of it on the counter, so we wanted it to coordinate. This distributor/tamper feels solid. It's heavy and requires little extra force to get a good tamp. Much easier to handle that the flat, razor-like distributor that was included with my machine (Breville Express). Fits the basket perfectly.

I got a new espresso machine and my son convinced me I needed all these little gadgets to make it easier to make my coffee. This coffee distributor and Tamper has worked great. It’s solid with a little weight to make the ease of pressing coffee down work well. I would definitely recommend to others.

Just received the item and have to say it’s pretty substantial. The surfaces on both the distributor side and the tamper are very nicely formed. I have a delonghi machine and this fits the 51mm portafilter very well.The whole unit is metal and disassembles to four parts.So far serves my purpose for coffee grind distribution well and now do not need a separate tamper as this is an all n one unit.Happy with purchase!Hope the photos help.

This thing is sturdy, it’s heavy to pick up and will hold up over time for sure. Overall, it saves me a ton of time distributing the espresso puck and also works as a way better tamp than my barista express original tamp. You can adjust how deep the tamp or distributor goes into the Porta filter depending on how much grinds you use. This is a very high quality product and works wonderfully, really stepped up my espresso game with this one.

If ur new in Espresso world and u have a machine that require great distribution and tamping I would highly recommend this device; It is very heavy and feels good in the hand, quality is honestly great. If you have a Breville barista Express and I would definitely recommend you to get this, that machine requires detailed grinding and tamping to get that perfect shot of espresso.

After struggling for a month trying to get consistent pressure from our new espresso machine, I purchased this item. The item is well built and has some weight to it. It has helped to evenly distribute the coffee in the portafilter. Since using this item I have been able to get consistent pressure.The item is sturdy and well built. Coffee grains do manage to get into some of the crevasses. The item does come with instructions on how to adjust the height if needed. It also comes with a QR code for redeeming a free tamper mat. It would be nice if the tamper mat just shipped with the item.

This coffee tamper is super nice and works like a champ. This is a solid chunk of stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish, if cared for will last for generations! The depth adjustment is smooth as butter, you will get a perfect puck every time.

This product feels very well made, and is pretty heavy. Definitely feels nice to use. The only thing is that there is that it leaves a pretty small gap between the basket and tamper, so a few grounds stick to the side. Very minor though, still recommend the product. I have a Barista Express Pro, and it seems to be the same diameter as the tamper that comes with the machine.
