Not as salty as the last brand of white miso paste we bought from the store. It has a hint of sweetness to it. It’s very nice. For a simple miso soup, I like to use 1 tablespoon for every one cup of broth, and add some cubed tofu. Add some sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy a light, hot soup. :)

Ready to go Miso
We needed this for a recipe and could not find it locally. It has a long shelf life as I still have it in our refrigerator, Sodium was not that bad depends how much you use. Definitely worth the money.

Delicious flavor enhancer
I’ve been adding this to everything recently and it brings an amazing depth of flavor. I added it last night to tomato soup and it was delicious. It’s not a distinctive taste on its own, and really brings other flavors together. I’ve added it to soups, pastas, marinades and salad dressings. All delicious
