WELL CAP 6" Watertight CAST IRON Heavy Duty Locking Well Cap

Awesome product. Works perfectly and creates a nice solid, tamper proof locking attachment to the well pipe. The set screw talked about in the other review is merely to hold the lower part of the cap in place while assembling the rest. What holds this thing onto the well pipe is the actual compression of the thick rubber gasket between the two halves of the cap. It locks it onto and seals it to the well pipe. This thing isn’t going anywhere. I swapped out the hardware for Stainless steel and added a washer on under the hex head and before the nut on the bottom. The product works great and looks great. Very pleased.

Fit perfect on my 6" inside diameter well. I replaced the hardware that came with it with stainless, but this thing is heavy duty and it arrived well packaged in just a few days.

Only one set screw behind where the lock is intended to be placed. At this price, it should have a minimum of 4 internal set screws accessible only from inside the unlocked lid. Poor design.I would not have purchased this model if I had known this.

I like this well cover, looks very well made, very heavy. It arrived quickly and in good condition.

I replaced my old well's non-sanitary style cap with this. It fit the well pipe really nice, has a nice blue powder coat finish. I had to rig up a concoction of piping for my electrical wires but it ended up working out fine. I would recommend this cover if you're looking for a solid sanitary seal for your well cap. The provision for adding a padlock is a nice bonus.

It is very critical to get the right size so be sure to measure. In my case I have a very old well and casing and this well cap worked great.
