I'm an HVAC technician and install several mini split units a month, I use this every time and it always gets the job done. Easy to use and works very well

It was my first time to tighten the gas lines on a mini-split and I wanted something that was accurate on the torque on each connection. I had an experienced HVAC tech that was impressed with this torque wrench and it did a great job NO Leaks!!!

Easy to use, easy to set up. Must have for HVAC. I bought this tool for correctly tightening flares on mini-spits, and I am very glad I did. Just check the manual for specs, input the information into the wrench with digital display, and go to work. No more guessing when tightening flares. You will be surprised how much or how little torque is actually required. Feels and looks like it was made with quality in mind, something you would expect from Yellow Jacket.

Great tool works well only complaint is that turns of flare nuts end up getting done an eighth of a turn at a time sometimes being that the adjustable head is so big it gets blocked from good turns or even being put on flare nuts if other flares are close by as is usually the case

It comes with a torque certification, so I can only assume it is accurate. I have installed a few Mini Splits before and was always nervous about over or under tightening the connections. On my latest installation this was great to have to make me much more confident about the installation.

Make connecting pipe fixtures/flare nuts a breeze compared to using a torque bar with wrench heads that can overtighten if not used properly. Well worth it's value in $$$ if you are in the trade or are a DIY person.
