master heater
Unit is very good at heating my garage, it has a variable control which makes this heater a perfect match for me, in a short while the temp. in my garage (even when temps. are in the teens) becomes very warm so I have to reduce the volume of heat being generated from this heater, and then it maintains a good even temp.. The heater is so light weight that I didn't believe that it would work so well. Has an always on igniter so there is no pesty thermacouple to fool with, its turn on the gas and plug it into the electric and you are good to go.

Great little heater.
The media could not be loaded. Heated a 2 1/2 garage. Out side temp from 20 to 50. Sometimes it was turned off because it got to hot. Ran for about 16 hours on lowest setting. Used one 20 pound tank. Bought from Tractor Supply Co. $99, free shipping.

Quality fair compaired to older model
The quality of this newer model was not the same as my older model made in USA.This Chinese made one has more plastic not as efficient flame so uses more propane. Too bad we as a country have settled for lower quality to save $.

Produces carbon monoxide so use with extreme caution.

Don't buy this heater
Bought in January - won't work in March. Called customer service. The 1 year warranty is useless. They send you parts to fix yourself. Still doesn't work and they want you to diagnose over the phone. Every other consumer item under warranty gets sent backed and a replacement returned. Not this company. Pinnacle Climate sucks. Warranty non-existent. DO NOT BUY!

Auto shutoff is set way too low
This doesn't show up as a verified purchase because it was purchased by a friend and given to me brand new. The overheat switch is way too low. I bought this so I could heat my (small) house and get rid of bedbugs. I planned to heat the inside to 118ºF for 20 minutes, which kills them and their eggs. But it won't get above 115ºF without shutting off. I'd keep it at 113ºF for 90 minutes, which will also kill the little cork soakers, but I can't regulate the temperature that finely. (If anyone wants to know: I did this safely. The room is wide open, the cats are out of the house, the windows are sealed, and I even keep the propane tank *outside* the house...just in case. The plan was to heat the house and then ventilate it to clear out the CO, but it keeps shutting off. I am going to give it one more try tomorrow, but if it does the same despite some alterations, it's getting returned.

Impressive heat from a small size
My concern with this heater was its small size and its ability to get to "ideal burn". There is no literature out there about the ability of this unit to get to above the 98% combustion rate expected by a properly functioning propane burning unit.We placed it in a 5000 SF warehouse with a 20 lb propane tank at full bore for 5 hours with a CO meter sitting within 6 feet of its exhaust. We started at 0 ppm of CO and after 5 hours of full blast from this unit we were still at 0 ppm. Keep in mind, we were in a 5000 SF unconditioned warehouse with 30 foot ceilings in 29 degree weather. That's a massive volume of air. We didn't expect this little guy to heat the place, only the area we had to work.It did its job well enough to buy another one. The local rental guys charge $40/day for this heater so that alone makes it worth buying. If you aim to use this unit in a semi-enclosed space, I highly recommend that you have a CO meter nearby to make sure you are getting an ideal burn.Don't ever mess around with CO.
