This item is well made. The base is very study and heavy so no concerns about tipping. The magnifying lens is very clear and strong. The retractable arm makes it easy to store in the closet. I appreciate the different light levels.

I have Macular Degradation and cannot see detail clearly. I used it for the first time yesterday, and foresee it as a fantastic tool for me to do close up crafts and tasks. It is very bright wit a dimmer if desired, and the magnification is clear and true. I tested it on my knitting and it was a big help. I made jewelry before my vision got so poor, and hopefully, this will enable me to do it again. It will help in many ways. I read some reviews that were negative, but my lamp is sturdy, has an abundance of arm adjustments that work just by moving the arm, the base is well balanced and on wheels . It also has a flip-down cover to keep it clean. I own both a desktop and handheld digital magnifier, and see this lamp as an extremely useful tool.

This lamp was so easy to put together, works great, and has a wonderful study base that makes it easy to move. I'd highly recommend it!

I purchased this for my mother who has macular degeneration. She really likes it for the most part. The cord is too short for her to use it in a nearby chair, so we will need to purchase an extension cord. It is heavy and difficult for her to move around because she is elderly, but the weight is necessary in order to support the top. My suggestions would be to increase the wheel size so it will roll easier on carpet and put a lock on them so it can be locked into place. Otherwise, great lamp for reading.

It has a heavy quality stable built base. I love the design. The arm is flexible. I have bought two products from this company. It has exceptional magnification. Great product, great packaging great company

The piece with the light/magnifier is not very adjustable, and the stand is awkward to move--even on flooring. BUT, when you get it in place, it works great.

I really love my Brightech floor lamp and magnifier! The adjustable brightness is a big help with my craft (i work with tiny seed beads) and the magnification is awesome! I love the ability to easily roll from one project to another without having to pick it up. Really like this product!The only thing I would change is to make the cord longer.

Best investment I have done in a long time and I'm going to give you why for the $130 I'd pay it in a heartbeat I'm a person who turns around I do painting I do cross stitch needlepoint quilting reading I do it all and you know I started the needle point and I made a 9 looked on this I put it together and everything and I looked I said I can't believe the mistakes I've done on it I'm 61 years old never thought my eyes would start weakening on me while they are and with this magnifying glass and the light on it it has a dimmer and it goes up and down and the extended pole goes up to five feet I'm not kid Neal I'm 5-3 know I'm 5-2 sorry and shrinking and I'm not kidding the thing is bigger than me only thing that I have to come up with if somebody can tell me I have Windows all over my place and skylights I know who can help me figure out how to cover the magnifying glass because of the sun doesn't smack right on it I have Sun all the way around inside my place if anybody has any ideas please drop a line I'm willing to take any suggestions but I give a 5-star for bright Tech and I will say this to their good quality I have outside solar lights with them I've had for 2 years so far and they're still running strong I have no complaints with this company whatsoever there they stand by their product this is January 8th 2020 I just received it today and I only started working on it for about 15 minutes that's how good this product is for me to even give it a review and I don't take I don't give review lightly this product is well worth the money
