Good guitar after tailpiece change
Straight out of the shipping box, this guitar seemed like a good player with nice sound. But stability of intonation was unacceptable, even after I had the strings changed and a setup. I became suspicious of the harp tailpiece being too flimsy, so I had a local guitar repair person change the harp tailpiece for a stop-bar tailpiece. That change, which cost $200, came out very good, and now this guitar is fine player all around. End result: I've got a decent playing, nice sounding, good looking guitar with P90s for under $1000.00. That's OK by me. UPDATE Jul 01 2023 - Thought I'd upload a photo of the guitar showing completed tailpiece change. This guitar sounds very pretty when plugged in. I'm playing it quite a bit, and digging it all the time.
